Full moon in Taurus, October 2015

Full moon in Taurus Mantra. “And I attend to my emotional needs, Rather than just doing good deeds, I focus on what is better for myself Helping others more when in good health”

So here we are at another gateway to understanding and manifesting our future- the full moon. This time, it is in the sign of Taurus- The Bull. Taurus is the second sign of the Zodiac and has many great qualities to bring out in the full moon- and some that are less than to be desired.

Full moon in Taurus Mantra. “And I attend to my emotional needs, Rather than just doing good deeds, I focus on what is better for myself Helping others more when in good health”

It is a great time for coming back down to earth- we’ve had Pisces and Aries that have been looking at the gateways and soul paths/taking it all head on and now this full moon takes us back down to our feet on the ground. The Bull, with its low centre of gravity, doesn’t like to get too high up in the air, you know! Taurus full moons can bring you back to the sensual, feely good earthiness of nature, good food and good surroundings. At this time, Mercury has now moved out of the shadow period of being retrograde, meaning communications should be hitting more often than not now if you are staying true with yourself. Mercury is in Libra and moves into Scorpio next week- meaning it is time for harmony and justice in communication, before digging deeper when in Scorpio. Mars is still in Virgo (see last month), as is Venus- so romance and love are potentially hard-grafting and challenges are likely to be moving past the criticisms and focusing on the good stuff.

But… back to the Full moon, The moon represents challenges to the emotional self and when Full and in Taurus reminds us to feel good! Not in an spacey, drunky, floaty good time way- but being real and appreciative of the good things in life- and that they can be luxurious and not expensive at the same time. The material self is challenged in Taurus, challenging you to be find comfort in yourself and your own means, to be true to yourself and be doing what’s right for you whilst also not being selfish and too self-obsessed.

Easy, eh? Well, essentially, it goes back to doing what is truly right for you is going to help other people by you being the best version of you. One of the things to bear in mind with what you are doing, is to ask yourself why you are doing it- gain insight from your honest answers.

And my Full moon Mantra for this month is:

“And I attend to my emotional needs,
Rather than just doing good deeds,
I focus on what is better for myself
Helping others more when in good health”

It is good to help others, just remember to do what you want as well. It doesn’t have to be one or the other- often you will find that things can flow naturally if you allow things to happen that way!

Injoy, inlight and inlove,

Phoenix
