For the third day of my own 7for7 Reiki Treatment, covering the seven ‘major’ chakras (energy centres in the body) I focused on the third chakra, the Solar Plexus.
The Solar Plexus is represented by the colour yellow, in some ways it is you own sun shining inside you. It is the Chakra of personal strength, learning and understanding. It guides you through life by giving you self esteem, willpower and also helping you set personal boundaries. The Solar Plexus also has the ability to help you bring change into your life and the universe as a whole. Located between your navel and the base of your sternum, the Solar Plexus is the cauldron of your fire, your sense of adventure. It gives you, your fire in your belly!
Good crystals to use are yellow or orange (as the Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakra are closely linked) in colour, such as:
- Citrine Quartz
- Yellow Aventurine
- Iron Pyrite (AKA Fools Gold)
- Calcite
- Golden Selenite (apparently rare, but amazing!)
A balanced Solar Plexus Chakra will boost:
- self esteem
- respect for others
- calmness and initiative.
- Your friendliness, joy and confidence.
- living a deeply fulfilling emotional life
- helps you feel brave and self-confident and able to take risks,
The Solar Plexus is normally associated with that of being a leader and an explorer.
I am the Sun
I am the fire
I am the adventure and desire
I seek
I fear not
I walk with pride for what I’ve got
I know myself
I will organise
I will do, I will recognise
I am happy for what I am
