So, on to day two of my own 7for7 treatment. Reiki with the intent on one chakra each day. Today focusing on the second major chakra- the Sacral. This represents relationships, self respect, sex, creativity and much more.
Your sacral chakra is located in your lower abdomen, approximately a couple of inches below the naval. It is connected to the emotional body. It might need addressing (balancing) if you are aware of any unhealthy attachment issues, sexually-related guilt, are emotional volatile, hypersensitive, and have trust issues.
An underactive sacral chakra can lead to acting completely disconnected, be cold towards others, needy and/oror emotionally dependent.
The Sacral Chakra is associated with the colour orange, the metal Iron and is ruled by the moon. Which may explain if you get a bit carried away during a full moon, etc 🙂
Good crystals to use with this Chakra are:
- Orange Calcite (good for cleansing)
- Coral Calcite
- Moonstone (meant to be especially good for balancing)
- Orange Carnelian
- Citrine
- Orange Aventurine
- Leopardskin Jasper
- Snowflake Obsidian
I used a nice slab of Orange Calcite, and blimey, it worked very nicely 😉
