Day five: Throat Chakra #7for7ReikiTreatment

On the fifth day of the treatment series I got to focus on the Throat Chakra, which  is normally associated with expression, responsibility and abundance.

The Throat Chakra (Sankrit: Vishuddha)  is depicted as being sky blue in colour.

Honesty and openness governs the health of this chakra. If you honestly expresses yourself, it helps keep the chakra balanced and open. We speak our truth with our voices, distorting the truth and outright lying can lower your vibrational level and close down this chakra. Also, not speaking up, holding back from saying something, can be damaging to this chakra.

The throat chakra is associated with listening to your intuition, it can guide you in a flow, in which you see your goals manifest. It can seems that the Universe provides all your needs with no effort on your part at all.
Particular signs of a blocked throat chakra are physically manifested as:

  • sore throat,
  • mouth ulcers,
  • swollen glands,
  • thyroid dysfunctions,
  • laryngitis,
  • other vocal problems

Crystals for clearing and maintaining a good throat chakra are mainly sky or mid blue. However, others can do the job well too.  Try any one of :

  • Aquamarine
  • Blue Calcite
  • Blue Chalcedony
  • Blue Lace Agate
  • Blue Opal
  • Celestite
  • Chrysocolla
  • Kyanite
  • Labradorite
  • Lapis
  • Turquoise

Personally, I discovered a few blockages during my treatment. Things I haven’t said to people to be nice/kind or not been fully open as I wasn’t sure they could handle my point of view. Finally, the biggest one, I admit, was that I told someone I loved them. That’s great, right? It was, until fear prevented me from taking the next step.

So this can be a hard one! When to be true and open and when to be kind/subtle or just a little reserved. I’d love to hear your views on this!

I decide to speak

I decide to not

I decide I want more

I like what I’ve already got

I’ll speak my truth aloud

Knowing you may not agree

I’ll listen to the guidance

And be open for all to see
